the good people at STUCK just posted our HARDLY SOUND session.






HARDLY SOUND is a series that is a sort of day-in-the-life of a band. We were asked to record 4 unreleased tracks at Superpop Studios, completely and totally live. We were even asked to talk about the band, the way we wanted to. We're very happy with the results and encourage everyone to go check out the good people of STUCK and all their amazing work at: apartofstuck.blogspot.com

we've got lots of things coming up in the fall, including the first edition of Hardly Sound...presented by STUCK. episode 1 will feature Leatherbag recording 4 unreleased songs in the studio along with other footage and commentary. Our residency at the Hole In The Wall will continue through October and there is a music video/t-shirts in the works. Above are photos taken by Chris Kim at the Hole In The Wall of us nerds playing rock n' roll. Oh, and on Monday, October 3rd, you can hear us on BBC6's Introducing...with Tom Robinson

we will be at Ditch The Fest Fest 2 performing at the Beauty Bar stage at 3pm, followed by a trip to the Doublewide in Dallas to open for our friends The Blurries who are releasing their debut album full of amazing angle-jangle Paper Cuts (click to listen). We're on around 10pm.

Our residency at The Hole In The Wall continues Tuesday with special guests: Wiretree and Jp and The Gilberts.
Leatherbag had a hand in producing Wiretree's new album, Make Up, (available at bandcamp now!) and word is they'll be joined by Nick Richman of These Mad Dogs of Glory for some of their set.
JP and The Gilberts are a Brooklyn band that has roots in North Texas.

should be a fun one. see you out at the show.
